Abhilipsa Panda was born on 30 November 2004 in Barbil, a small town in the Keonjhar district of Orissa, to a Brahmin family. She has a mother, a father, and a younger sister. Abhilipsa’s father, Ashok Panda, used to be in the Indian Army but now works as a manager in a private security company. Her mother, Puspashree, is a teacher.
Music runs in Abhilipsa Panda family and her grandpa was known for playing the harmonium in their village. She began learning Odissi Classical Vocal at just 4 years old in LKG class.
