Early Life
Terence Lewis was born on 10 April 1975 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Despite being a good student, his parents couldn’t afford his education.
Terence Lewis had a tough time continuing his dance training after finishing school because he didn’t have enough money. But his motto ‘ATM’ – Absorb, Try, and Master – encouraged him to persevere. He studied microbiology at the renowned St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Money issues made him switch to hotel management and psychology.
Being well-educated helped him get a high-paying job. With this newfound stability, he began pursuing his dream in dance from the beginning.
Career
Although he initially aspired to be an actor, he later chose dancing as his career and is now a famous choreographer. He made history as the first Indian to represent the country in Vienna, Austria, and received the danceWEB Europe Scholarship.
